Sunday Classes

Children’s Sunday School

Sunday school is available for children and youth from September through May. Adult education continues throughout the summer months.  Age-graded Sunday school is offered during the school year for children in preschool through adult and begins at 9:30am.  During the summer months, a one-room Sunday School is held for children.  Our Sunday School uses lectionary-based curriculum during the school year which ties to the focus text of the morning’s worship service.

Childcare is available for children ages four and under when parents attend  adult Sunday School Class.

Parlor Class

The Parlor Class is an Adult class for all ages and persuasions.  The focus scripture for the day is examined and discussed in depth with the pastor.  Challenging questions, honest sharing, and academic study are a part of each session.  Resource material is available to those who desire to prepare for class.  This class is designed to help individuals engage more fully in worship and share with children and youth studying the same lesson in Sunday School.

B.o.B (Books of the Bible) Class

This is an adult class that “studies” books of the Bible and uses scripture to lead our discussion.  Virtually all of the class time is spent in discussion and there is never a right or wrong answer.

Scriptures are full of practical advice and encouragement and many times we find that God speaks loudest through what is shared by other classmates as they share their faith journey.  Discussions are structured so that everyone has a chance to share but you can pass at any time.   Whether you have a vast knowledge of scripture or are opening a bible for the first time – this class has something to offer you.
