Our congregation is committed to outreach. Approximately 10% of our annual budget is pledged to the Disciples Mission Fund of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) to support ministries in partnership with other Disciples congregations and out ecumenical brothers and sisters.

During the year there are also six Special-Day offerings that are received that is "over and above" giving to designated ministries of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Our congregation also supports numerous other outreach projects including an Angel Tree at Christmas, a Blanket Sunday on World Communion Sunday, and giving of food and money to our local food panty. We have also "adopted" a cabin at our campgrounds, the Christian Conference Center in Newton, IA.

The Norwalk Christian Church coordinates the volunteers for the local Meals on Wheels program delivering noon, weekday meals to predominately older, less mobile or shut-in residents. This is a vital ministry to our community and new drivers are always welcome.
